The "Fuck You" Hand
nothing's gonna get me upset
even when my boss is up my ass
co-workers talking crap
seems like everyone is trying me
but I'm in too good a mood
they won't bring me down to their level
I have all I need waiting for me at home
will be there in just a couple of hours
phone's dead, less rings
friends came and went
I don't take shit from anyone
that's why they call me a prick
I say good riddance
plenty of others who have love for me
like my beautiful wife
who knows just the right things to say
and the right ways to hold me
so better luck next time
I know what it is
some people spend their time
flying towards the sky
while others spend their time
trying to keep those people down
or maybe they're more like leaches
well you won't siphon my melatonin
I'm filling my heart with happy moments
not a perfect man
I fail from time to time
and that's why the haters lie in wait
I must admit
we all seek understanding
but you won't see me begging
I put my heart and soul into everything
if I can't get some appreciation
I won't bother explaining
you see, I'm a easy going man
who's not afraid to play the "fuck you" hand
for anyone trying to mess up my day

Thank you very much. It's nice to write out my frustrations. Seems like they are building up days before my vacation too. Just 3 more days I keep reminding myself 😁
