Bloody Tears
My heart left in the night,
the gaping hole in my soul,
a horrifying fright.
A thousand times I ask "why"
of the simple letter saying "bye".
Can I cry without a heart,
or are those my bloody tears,
masquerading as my fears,
raining down from arteries,
or is it just pissing mockeries.
Are you treating my heart well
or like Pavlov's dog ringing a bell.
I wish I could have said .......
or that I did not feel so dead,
I thought we were ....
but it is all such a painful blur.
Dear sorceress why the disdain
for the bones of my soul that remain.
the gaping hole in my soul,
a horrifying fright.
A thousand times I ask "why"
of the simple letter saying "bye".
Can I cry without a heart,
or are those my bloody tears,
masquerading as my fears,
raining down from arteries,
or is it just pissing mockeries.
Are you treating my heart well
or like Pavlov's dog ringing a bell.
I wish I could have said .......
or that I did not feel so dead,
I thought we were ....
but it is all such a painful blur.
Dear sorceress why the disdain
for the bones of my soul that remain.
