I often wonder if other artists go
into a painting with something to say
or if they paint it and then allow it
to reveal its true self.
It’s one of the many reasons why
abstract is my favorite style. It holds
so many mysteries.

It kind of happens both ways for me.
Sometimes i know what colors i only want to use but halfway though i start adding.  Often it has a mind of its own and I'm just the technician.   Sometimes like today it fits my mindset but didn't stzrt off that way.
I'm not literal so abstract fits my charter
