ACTION

It was so
safe and comfortable
to stay inside
self-imposed boundaries;
to go to
the same places,
to eat the same foods,
to drink the same
beverages, to listen
to the same music,
to make love
the same way over
and over and over,
and staying in
the approved behavior
norms of society;
yes it was safe
UNTIL
you came along
and dared me to
DO the forbidden;
dare drink from
a new fountain, to
touch and taste
forbidden fruits,
to cross the lines
of norms creating
new and exciting ones.
