Goddess of the void

There's a Goddess out there in the void, does she know my name, I guess that doesn't matter much, as I adore her all the same

Her smile is captivating, her eyes send me into trance, I'd give my heart to find her, if I only had the chance

If I could spend some time with her, I'd tell her how I feel, how I dream of her nightly, wishing my void Goddess was for real

But she lives out in the void, just close but out of touch, living in my heart and mind, with a love I want and need so much

My heart beats out her name constantly, I'm sure some day it'll break, a overload of needs and wants, much more than it can take

As my head hits the pillow, I hope to find her across the void, hanging on till the sun comes up, bringing the truth I can't avoid

I'm laying on my own again, just sad, lonely and quite annoyed, knowing that she's gone again, my Goddess of the void
