Sun and Moon.

Remember when your youth beckoned you to explore uncharted waters,
When time had no meaning and the future was limitless,
You had it all, and you knew nothing really mattered…
Pleasure was paramount and the sun and moon were your masters,
The games we played the chances we took, never looking back…
The sun and moon had other plans for your destiny, they plotted to take their time and wait…
And you in all your glory sailing on the sea of recklessness, floating on the ocean of oblivion, you never knew…
The lovers of oblivion were the children of God, protected by the grace of enchanted youth and vitality…
The sun though eventually rose after days of waiting in plain sight, along with the moon night after night…
The folly of eternal youth, and the lies we told ourselves perished along side the blazing glories of the Sun and the Moon.
Ancient eternal beacons never growing old, waiting patently for you…
