Poets are Thieving Whores

Poets are thieving whores
men, and women, alike
    Sucking from their victims
      due to an uninspired psyche

      No wonder poets burrow
    festering, hibernate
No longer willing to put at risk
what others simulate

  Cut off pickpocket hands
     stick pens in their eyes
           Poets are thieving whores
                 worthy of despise

    Mayhap, overtly harsh
  my brush, too liberal
For I've noticed a smear of paint
in my poems so far you know

My legs aren't spread too widely
      but I might've copped a feel
        How could I resist
a sexy poem with sex appeal

Or one that blew my mind
    sent my nervous system reeling
  The touch was innocent enough
they chose to be revealing

Of course she said what he said
  and he recounted another version
    Sorry, I digress
       from this stealthy, mad, excursion

      Poets are thieving whores
they'll roll ya for a cent
              Btw, anybody know
                where that well-endowed poet went
