Hide inside this life with me
So the others cannot see
Gild me with that sacred stare
Fulfil me with your nascent wares
I cannot wait another second
Rush before the reaper beckons
It’s not insane or filled with hate
But a weary saint can seldom wait
Fire waits to be ignited
Always present, not short sighted
But cannot be set ablaze
Without the tools to ablate
Hide inside this world with me
I’ll never be what they see
But you ask nothing of me
And you’re the one, 1 that I need
Embellish me with those precious jewels
Prepared to forego all the rules
Know that you have my submission
A mistress does not need permission
A star does not require a mandate
To twinkle incessantly at a mate
Undress me with your mortal hands
Angels observe, but understand
Will I garner all I seek?
Prepared to try, to try at least
Give me my freedom from this hour
Bestill me with your exceptional power
Not content simply to yearn
Consequences are not your concern
Hide inside these clothes with me
Your admission will set me free
I may never let you leave
For this loom is all I have to weave
Decant at your discretion
But I will never be your possession
Bear upon me with your sword
Rest assured you are adored
And please do not remove this splinter
Every Spring proceeds a Winter
Flowers bloom and thrushes sing
Enchant me with a golden ring
If eyes are blue and now you bow
Know that you are my subject now
But come, let’s not be so fraught
Hide inside my opulent court
And so the others cannot see
