Sharing

I love the feeling
Of not having to go to work tomorrow,
Physical exhaustion,
Contribution, and
A long shower.

She loves the feeling
Of no one else is up and about yet,
Half an hour with a coffee,
A breakfast fire, and
Birds waking.

We love how it feels
To prepare each other's morning brew,
Pick out this year's flowers,
Tend sore muscles, and
Share long drives.
.
I love it when
I'm kissed just for coming home,
The news, and dinner mingle,
We've shared our day, and
There's a quiet, late hour.

She loves it when
The tub is filled with steamy water,
Her phone let's her hear, "Hi Nanny!", and
She's doing crafts, with
Kids partaking.

We love it when
Hugging for warmth, or support,
Challenges are overcome,
Sharing solitude, or laughter, and
Our friendship thrives

I was out on the balcony before dinner, when I took a moment to enjoy the feeling of not working the next day. She joined me, so I asked her what she loved feeling.
