Underground for so long
I've surfaced for air
Just to see the world engulfed
In the fires of stupidity

Underground where i belong
I've surfaced to care
Just to see the world impulsed
I don't know what got into me

Now trapped
Belonging not above nor below

Of the energy i once bestowed

So now i must envy for the taste

Content is not enough
I strive to be alive
In the fullest context i can be
