No Doom, Or Gloom

There was no doom, and gloom
At the Horse and Groom
The atmosphere was quite convivial
She had a lovely half of cider
Which gently mellowed inside her
Where any complaints would be trivial

She then wandered off far
To another favourite bar
In search of her much loved mead
When she got there
The cupboard was bare
So she wandered away knock-kneed

Then she thought she heard thunder
Any drink she would plunder
So settled for cider ag'in (again)
She then walked some more
On her mead seeking tour
Ending with a Parmaviolet Gin!
