I Refuse

You were supposed to train me
Not love me like a father
You are my stone monument
But you make me your weakness

And now

Now you sit here and say
It's too dangerous

You coddle me
Lessen your punishment
Lessen my pain

You say
You can no longer teach me what you know
But in doing so

You KILL YOURSELF

Because they will take me
To dominate you
Yet you won't defend yourself
You won't show your practicality

Through ME

So I refuse to let you do this
No
Not through me IN THIS STATE

I will find someone to teach me
Break me
Build me
And fight for you

Because I won't let you kill yourself
No
Not through me
I refuse.

Author's Note
In dealing with affairs of war, the deafness of pride is an ugly thing but fear is a far worse adversary. Fear will weaken your bones and sully your reason.

I said those words and you answered. So I guess that shit you said about faith was bull. You always believed.
