time has a way of changing things
body's change desire change
even love changes
the goal grow deeper
and richer with time
like your love and mine
you looked forward
and complained as I looked back
because your love wasn't as deep as mine
now that veil has been lifted
and my view has shifted
your desire was surpassed mine
your hunger is making up for lost time
and I'm finding it hard to keep time
I am just past my prime
I can still keep it up
maybe not from zero to sixty nine
like when I was in my prime
it takes a little more time
I have basic cable
just not on demand
it's your desire that has to light my fire
