Socrates put to death  
399 BC,
for promoting morals
and western philosophy,
 
pupils Plato, Aristotle,
pick up his lead,  
deductive thinking
and the world university,
 
but at present day,  
millenniums away,
we repel their legitimacy,  
 
why can’t we learn..
why don’t we love..
why embrace inequality  
 
africans kids are crying
middle eastern babes dying,
in the US they’re getting shot down  
in the street,
 
no need compassion,  
corrupt men can’t see,
part of their culture,  
just more seeds of the greed,
 
the NRA’s laughing,  
and politicians clapping,
“as long as it ain’t you are me”..
 
they perch like vultures,
in concrete trees,
waiting for death,  
to eat it’s currencies..
 
over millions of tears,  
from thousands of years,
we kill to advance civilization,
 
why can’t we see
that hypocrisy,  
a mentality with no revelations,
 
the belief that rears,  
the murder of peers,  
is a humane abomination,
 
lies and fears,  
and philosophical smears,
have wiped out entire generations..  
 
insane decrees
for war number 3,
it’s a self fulfilled armageddon,
 
because  
leaders can’t see,
now from 300 bc,
 
equality..
for the entire human nation.
