Monthly Dew

It's been 28 days since your last visit here
And I must admit I havent missed you.
I'll be honest, it's always such a joy
upon your arrival
But anxiously I bid thee silently to leave.

I am tardy, waiting on you hand and foot
As if a slave to my own demise
You expect me to greet you everytime
with  open arms and grateful eyes
And requested on your arrival
Cottons of the most expensive kind.
Midnight snacks and heavy cream to satify your craving dreams
And although you prefer to be alone
Got your Advil
 just incase the aches return.

You are full of moods and swings
Sometimes I dont know how to cope
But for what its worth I'm glad you're here
And just so that I'm clear,
It's you and I together
Until the time has come my dear.
