It was
so beautiful
to the eyes;
it even
caused the
mouth to water,
which was a surprise;
it was rare
with forgotten
features and usages.
OLD
wasn't a handicap
but an enhancer.
As I stared at the
ancient Egyptian
piece of pottery
the curator smiled
and asked, "Would
you like to hold it?"
"YES!"
"You may hold it."
Wouldn't you
like to hold a treasure?
WOW!
I had
read about,
and wondered
if I'd ever have
a chance to see
much less touch.
