Night
And I wish for someone to know my soul
A dreamer's dream
I know
To know you
Who I have imagined for so long
Soft
Sweet kindness
Though love is oft a fire
The gentle calm within my storm
I wish for somebody...does so my heart
Does so my heart
When night's drawn out
Long and lone
No voice
No warmth
No peace to sleep
And when I do
You haunt the corners of my dreams
Night
And I wish for you
Does so my heart...
Night
Not blanketed with the busy of the day
It lies alone beneath the sheet
Naked there except for truth
Harrowed
Through long unquiet hours assailed
By the absence of a touch
A scent
Of you
Night

Your unsureness need rest easy, as this ethereal plea of pure love and a soul to be fully known by that particular 'one'.... well, it is just breathtaking.... H, is 100% correct in saying that you are THE bard of love poems here within these DU walls. You're one of one's that I aspire to be even a tiny bit as exquisite as... I read a lot of your work and I'm always left so utterly moved and awestruck by your words and how you elicit such gorgeous beauty.... it's masterful.
