I was seeking a place to escape from reality
Went deep underground and found D.U.P
A place where peeps like me compose & share
Where no subject matter ever gets spared

You may not care for some things that you'll see
That's the great versatility of what's called poetry
Agree to disagree then keep scribbling with your pen
You'll eventually reach someone that you can befriend

Don't pretend to be something that you truly aren't
You'll get exposed by pros whose prose are of a different font
Art should be genuine and your pen should tell no lies
Express your sincere opinions instead of being minions in disguise
