I'm a HUGE Prince fan and thoroughly enjoyed this tribute to Purple Rain very much... it was a terrifically creative way to incorporate this iconic song.... and it captured me completely...

Ah yes, I've been here. This evokes the dual feelings of joy and loss that seem interwoven into love itself. At first the joy of attachment and then the crushing pain of detachment. Reminds me of of S&G's classic line "If I never would have loved/I never would have cried."

I don't think it's ever our intention to hurt others, but whether is stemming from past issues or unresolved matters, we fall on old behaviors that are self-sabotaging. These reflective writes are like apology letters (God knows I've written many myself).
