Across The Veils
Across the cold vacuums of cosmic ether
and entities -
The entity merged
the gravitational currents
in the cold storage of stasis.
As comets stood still
And meteors stood still
And starlight stood still
Arriving at my window sill
with a deal.
And I reached across the veil
* * *
“It’s a deal.”

Dear C,
Reading your delightful poem I’ve used it more to my thinking I’m afraid so I apologize I’ve removed the alien aspect from it. The momentary stoppage of time and space continuum reminded me of being hit hard with attraction or feelings of desire. Oh dear, Now I read what I wrote perhaps alien is exactly how I interpreted the piece. 😳
Sliced or diced I found the format, the meter and most of all the words really wonderful.

I very much like your interpretation and the movement of your thoughts.
The idea I had in mind was reminiscent of "The Book of Enoch", which posits that fallen angels gave man various forms of knowledge, including: metals, magic, herbs, music, art, which are all derivations of love, in my perception.
So of course, this is in line with your impressions.
