The Simple Mind
I want to be refined
Taken through a process of reproduction
And given a new mind
The simple mind
Gentle,meek and kind
Innocent and blank like that of a child
But I've seen so much
So much has imprinted on my mind
Battling in complicity
For answers hard to find
I've given up that quest
Simplicity's simply the best
Do my best and rest
Maybe then life wont be more of a test
The simple mind
Grant me the simple mind
A mind void of hate,anger and pride
A mind that'll resist the ungodly
A mind not so worldly
A mind that delights in simple things
The mind of a sound being
