Curious, do you scry ( which also includes squinting your eyes until blurry to see what appears ), or is this with the naked eye? This is beautiful penned. The alliteration ( Languid lingering ) is wonderful, as is the assonance/consonance ( Divots in the dirt ).

I do not know that I scry, in the conventional sense, or do anything, in the conventional sense.  I have always had what I will just call visions, no matter time nor place.

I want to buy or build a sensory deprivation chamber, but my own chamber is to lay in bed in the darkness and cover my eyes with a sacred cloth and put on some music and just...  Being.

To me...  What has been called "remote viewing" is the most recent incarnation of a practice or practices that go back into the mists of pre-history.  And a mechanism which I believe all writers interact with on some level in some capacity.

I think "remote viewing" is merely a level of understanding in a state of infancy.  The truth at the core of this "phenomenon" is known but difficult to convey.  I believe.
