LAUGHING AT MYSELF

ME!

Every day I pause
to visit my comedy club
where I laugh at myself
out of honest reflection.

There are a lot of things
I laugh at, mostly the
dumb things I say and
the things I forget to say.

My favorite laugh comes
when I forget where
I left my keys or not
realizing I didn't set my alarm.

Then there's telling
the same person the same
story over and over not
seeing their boredom.

I don't think I'll share
the sexual laughs I
have at myself, it'll
be a tell-all creating desires.

Yes, it's great being
a standUP comedian,
with new material
to share every day.

A Shrink told me
that it's good medicine
to laugh at yourself...
no wonder I'm so healthy.
