I've heard it all my life:
"An idle mind is
the devil's workshop."
This sage proverb
is catalysis to stay busy.
"Don't let the grass
grow under your feet",
is another workaholic goody.
The reasoning behind this
pseudo-philosophy is you
can only get ahead, reach
your goal, or add bucks
to your bank account
by staying on the treadmill
none stop, 24-7-365.
BENEFITS:
Let's hear it for the benefits!
The benefits of not
resting, taking a break,
or an extended vacation
coupled with fear, worry,
and anxiety about losing
a penny on the market,
MY BE:
* High blood pressure
* Ulcers
* Migraines
* Stroke
* Insomnia
* Gain or loss of weight
* Loss of sexual desire
* Alcoholic
* Heart attack
* An early grave
STOP!
"It won't happen to me"
is what my friend.........said;
sadly he was buried yesterday
with a network of millions at age 42.

Reminds me of a friend that worked until 68 years old. Planned to RV the US decades ago, saved his bucks hard, fully paid for a nice RV weeks before retiring. He had a heart attack 3 weeks after retiring. Ridiculously heartbreaking.
