Joshua Tree Lovers
These lovers return
to haunt each other through millennia
of rebirths with love as perennial
as the life of the Joshua Tree
known to live a thousand years.
But have been around 2.5 million years.
With the honeymoon period
Of warm most climates
Eons past
But an example to lovers everywhere
Of the hardscrabble life
That can be won

I have been to where two deserts meet!
and I visited Joshua Tree in the 90's when I flew out to San Francisco for a few days and then drove down the Pacific Coast Highway to LA, spending a few days... then my boyfriend and I drove all the way home cross country back to Tampa... we stopped at so many places along the way and I made him go out of the way so I could check out Joshua Tree... hahaha...
Anyway... I digress...😂
I loved the feel of this spill, John. It took me places in my own life's past.... and I greatly appreciate that transcending and the accessing of good memories from long ago.

I have traveled through Joshua Tree country. I got a cool pic from the car. Love your impression of my work. Indeed the hardscrabble life cn be won but only by transcending and holding onto the good within and without. Very glad you enjoyed this, my friend.
