Love in a Box
Love is in a box when its unyielding to the Spirit of Love.
You put LOVE in a box when
you love only those that look like you
.. that talk like you
... that dress like you ( ink/ piercing)
..with your skin color
.....who believe just what you believe
..who worship GOD the way you do.
Like GOD (The Alpha and Omega/the Being and the END) is narrowed minded like you. Please!
.. those in your inner circle
. those who can offer/give you something
. the Book rather than the man that book Loves
. your rules more than people
..your money
..your position
..your looks
..your youth ( elderly)
..your possessions
.there is so many things that hinder the Spirit of Love
Love is enslaved when your love is boxed in, unyielding.
Open yourself to the possibility of LOVE, its FREEDOM

This is so on!!! I keep alot in side myself for fear of rejection and hurt. I dont let too many enter into the depths of my heart and soul. I am better off not have felt anything for anyone. You speak of false friends here too. Been had a few of them too, to except everyone for all that they are is a hard concept for most people. People dont want to step out of their little circle of life, or let no one else in. Alot of good friendship are never discovered cause of this. This brought alot of emotion to me, thanks for a great write.
Thank you for the read. Its a hard subject I know. Reaching out to someone different is scary as all hell,the what ifs, the opening up. But what else can we do, put up more walls? If we truly say we LOVE, we ask for help like in your poem 'Come to me'
