I know you don't understand me and the things that I do
I shouldn't be judged upon for the things you only assume
My reactions and how I respond to things may be different then your way
But you can't decide and expect me to respond in a way you say I should behave
My life I've lived was different than yours
I've experienced many things through my years
Which has shaped and molded me
By my blood sweat and tears
I wear my battle scares with pride
Which you don't understand
I'm not ashamed of walking through hell and back equiped with a shield and sword in hand
 I'm not the only person who's had to rebuild my life after the storm has torn it apart
You have no right to judge the tools in my bag saying my rebuilding skills aren't right
Because you chose to close your eyes and turn your backs when I needed your help the most with the hardest parts of trying to rebuild my life
I'll never be the person you have in your mind I should be
I have a beautiful heart and an intelligent mind
I don't need your condemnation or approval
I am happy with who I am
Your negativity no longer serves me
