Word Rocket

I don't spit truth on a dare

I do it because I care


I believe that hope

is the ultimate dope

And that not with guns but with stroke of a pen

that world-wide revolutions begin


My poems are more powerful than the missile called a Tomahawk

if you read one you will know that's not just talk


Tonight I am going to light up the sky

and let this one fly


As sure as electricity comes out of my light socket

I am aiming for your mind with this word rocket
