Lash-Hooded Coffee Angel
The Eucharistic bread of her back
Melts on the tongue of my gaze
On the miracle of her parted blouse
An apparition worthy of Fatima
Freed to bless pilgrim grails
Stirred by a haunted Cypress dream
A barista on an Arabica high
She peers into my soul
with her lash-hooded eyes
When she blows the steam off my coffee

Susan, love, love your impression of this poem my friend! Seems I've returned to my old imagery poetry after all these decades. Yes, my coffee angels are an endless source of beauty and inspiration.
