Drape feminine finery
With stars afloat in a purple sky
Pants fit for a Sultan’s daughter
Who keeps her demeanor reserved
As a woman of the court must

And dress her in pauper’s rags
She pours her soul into cups

Coming from a master of the English language such as you that means the world to me. I had just had coffee served to me by the woman who became my muse. As I walked across the campus to catch the bus home this poem evolved in my mind. Very glad you enjoyed my darling friend.
