Suffer
How many hushed voices ring
around your head?
never alone but feel so isolated in
even the inner ones
beckon a brighter vessel
those hollow words that echoes
salvation in dire disbelief
embracing the touch of malice as warmth.
as mutal destruction became a shared notion between fists and vitriol
the precious poisoned perfume reeks through the house
bottled dreams and dismissed beings
where dishes crash and fall to no end
veiled hurt by making friends
with the shadows that dance swiftly in macabre ball
...entirely beautiful...
like a suicide waltz
across the room
until light decimated their form.
How many decaying promises born,
sweet rebuttals
and denying truths
must one hold,
before gazing into death
and becoming one with it.
