EPILOGUE
The life that used to be
Is just a memory
It is better this way
Keep yourself at arms length
Waiting with bated breath
For the hunkering grave
Wrecked upon the road
I let my morality go
Hold your hand as your fingers grow cold
When you broke the mold
You let your mortality go
Taste your kisses as my lips grow cold
We are in the epilogue
Where our last words live forever
Once upon a lost prologue
When we could not see the never
The life that should have been
Had no chance to begin
When we wished on a star
Was such a bitter pill
That cut deep for the kill
And love became a scar
Wrecked upon the road
I let my morality go
Hold your hand as your fingers grow cold
When you broke the mold
You let your mortality go
Taste your kisses as my lips grow cold
We are in the epilogue
Where our last words live forever
Once upon a lost prologue
When we could not see the never
You cannot fathom
Whispering phantoms
In remembrance
If only a glance
At the other side
Where you cannot hide
We remember
Being dismembered
Wrecked upon the road
I let my morality go
Hold your hand as your fingers grow cold
When you broke the mold
You let your mortality go
Taste your kisses as my lips grow cold
We are in the epilogue
Where our last words live forever
Once upon a lost prologue
When we could not see the never
Is just a memory
It is better this way
