Your pain

Give me your pain
that I might understand it
that I may take it away from you
that your pain might be mine
that we can share and suffer together.

Men can never understand that
this makes a woman and
for some separates the sexes
so that a clear divide creates a
barrier and for those women they
celebrate this difference as a right
and a blessing.

Many call it the curse as pain has
been related to punishment for
sin by some religions but if this
term relates to religious
punishment why is this not felt
by men?

Curse or blessing or biology
I care not which this is but
I wish to bear some of the
monthly pain for and with you
to help lessen the divide that
mental stress caused by
continual pain can come from
this too often physical torment.

You are mine and so are your
trials , fears and pains, so it
is my duty to share these with
you and keep you from harm
wherever that is possible for
me to do so tell me when you hurt
so I can be there with you and
feel some of the burden for
being the woman that I love.
