Trapped between a nightmare
And the memory of you
Lost in dying winter's
Last stranglehold of the moon
I am decaying inside
This chrysalis of bad dreams
When the final bit of hope
Draws breath for one final scream
I have beat my hands broken
Bleeding for you
Instead of facing
Another moment of truth
All of the sudden
And out of the blue
I beat my hands broken
Bleeding just for you
Drawing a conclusion
I can't stay between the lines
When all the promises
Have mutated into lies
I have beat my hands broken

SCREAM in the mirror
a war I can't win
The battle is over
before it begins
RIP your heart to shreds
a beautiful thing

The monster that's inside
The mirror seems so unfazed
I'll take this shame and guilt
Straight to the fucking grave
