Mourning a different path

There are these micro seconds between breaths
Where I miss the life that I could have lead
If I had made different choices, different moves
If I had decided to live my life with a fun focus than revenge
If I had decided to close my mouth about my pain
If I'd just let it go like so many other things
I have given so much of myself away
Wasted time on things I didn't have to
Things that dont matter anymore
