Untitled Story (Part IV)

Xavier and Yves stood close to the object and the old man started enunciating his command to them.
“I need you to carry me, I mean carry this monitor to a spot in the village and for that I will reward you with money. How about one hundred Francs for each and every step?” Asked the old man.
“You have got yourself a deal.”
As Yves held the monitor in his arms he felt the supportable hotness of it.
