Do What You Love to do What You Need

Life doesn't always go the way you think it may
Time passes and things change
One thing that will not change
Are the pangs that bring you home

Know that your hobbies may return
Keep them close for nostalgia some yearn
For they are like children and nourishment they need
Or else they will wither and leave

Keep at em at least once a week
To keep them from getting too lean
Don't lose hope in doing the things you love
Or sadness will overrun

Author's Note
We must NOT stop doing the things we love. Even if we don't have time to do what we enjoy, We must at least try to fit in time once a week. I've been overwhelmed and realized that part of it was because I stopped doing all my hobbies altogether to do what I thought was important, but I forgot that in order to do what's important without wearing myself down I needed to incorporate space for the things I love to do better for the things that are important. Do what you love to be better at things that you need to get done.
