Eyes twitching
Body shaking
Deep inside a dream
Entwined within its vicious scheme
A nightmare beyond
Your wildest imagination
Extreme terror
Making your body tense up
Supreme numbness
Shortage of breath

But wait

Everything’s fine
Or so it seems
Sweat on your brow
You spring up with a flash

What the hell was that

But by the time you try to remember it
The thought now hazy
You lay back down
