Pawns After Dawn
Flames get sparked as we walk through our darkest of times
We can't stay parked and embark upon enlightened minds
We must find the pine colored gems within our struggles
Then answer them in pen within scantron bubbles
Rumbles In the jungles are tests of lions' & lioness' might
To see if we stumble as we juggle then fumble the insight
The sight of light doesn't evoke delight until after it's been gone
Just like the Sun's spike as it's transformed from dusk to dawn
Will you be a pawn and rest upon your laurels
Or carry on through the storms Iike you're royals
Even pawns have the potential to become equal to Queens
Determination must be in the equation to amount to anything
