Pegasus

I'm in an earthly daze,
As I sit in physicality, and materialism.
Waiting for my surrealism.
I remember looking up to the stars with my mom,
As a kid, my eyes connecting the dots, in awe.
What was it, in those celestial bodies, that I saw?
A higher world?
A paradise?
Valhalla?
Will they spare my life?
It doesn't matter, I think as I ride Alpha Pegasi,
And when I arrive, I know for sure,
The guard will let me by.
Why?
Well, it's in my desire,
For a world up higher.
A world where instead of destruction,
Creation comes from fire.
A world where nourishment,
Is in the process of turnin it,
Into something bigger and newer,
Where the bigger don't always outweigh the fewer.
That's why I got my good hat on.
That's why I got my hood back on.
That's why I don't run with the pack.
And that's why I still ain't cracked.
That's why I'm ridin on Pegasus back.
