Poetry versus Sex
For some
writing poetry is like sex
others think sex is like a poem
My question to you is
if you had to give one up
which would go first
poetry or sex
Now if you choose
writing poetry before sex
there's a big consolation prize
I think after that decision
you're likely to be
pretty pissed
and that's usually a great time
to write your best poetry
But just to confuse you
I feel I should point out
that choosing sex
before poetry
has its pitfalls too
Unless of course
you're lucky enough
to always enjoy sex
as much and whenever you want
whereas writing poetry
as well as being an activity
not dependent on input
from another human being
and usually in private
is something that
can be done in public
any time you want
all day long
if that's what turns you on
So what's it to be

Don't be daft, Priya - I took it as a compliment. You should be used to my quirks by now. Part of the problem is that I am really stubborn about not using emoticons - tho at times such as this I can see their usefulness!
