You
I have known you for a year
Yet it feels like a dream
Wake me up, help me please
I don’t want to corrupt you
Like any other human being
It was nice, you're nice
Every time I talk to you
I remember all the times I cared for you
Your smile that is precious to say the least
Became my daily baking yeast
Even while we are in quarantine
Texting you is part of my routine
your nose that is facing me
have seen the worst of me
the fact that you are still with me
makes me question your sanity
I won’t listen to myself,
I’m just grateful that you are being yourself.
Yet it feels like a dream
Wake me up, help me please
I don’t want to corrupt you
Like any other human being
It was nice, you're nice
Every time I talk to you
I remember all the times I cared for you
Your smile that is precious to say the least
Became my daily baking yeast
Even while we are in quarantine
Texting you is part of my routine
your nose that is facing me
have seen the worst of me
the fact that you are still with me
makes me question your sanity
I won’t listen to myself,
I’m just grateful that you are being yourself.
