if taken sincerely and applied

While I do (mostly) agree with you on your bullet points acrostic version of jealousy and how to combat it's ugliness, sometimes it's more complicated and nuanced. Jealously can stem from lack of self understanding / esteem and trust issues from bad past experience that leave scars and emotional turmoil. Working on ebbing it's affects, is a usable and effective way to try and curb green eyes.... it's a process.

You are so right. There are volumes of reasons contributing to the dynamics of jealousy. No two persons are the same, no two situations or dynamics are the same. In using the acrostic in a glass of 30, 30 different answers were given. Based on each person's experience each was right. The best we can hope to do, from my perspective, is to bring the word to the table for discussion. But, sadly, some had rather avoid or deny the problem.
