Afterglow
He keeps
me
cycling
on the
edge
of
his prophetic
ochre
streaming
hues
whilst
suspended
and
knotted
firmly tethered
to his
lucid
manifestations
as the
need
casted
within
his deeds
flash
before
my eyes
like
a slideshow
screening
screenshots
shot
by the prism
of
light & love
as he
touches
the frayed
edges
of
my psyche
whilst
fingering
my swollen
glistening
plush
velvet
pages
as his
oceanic
blues
recall
me
to the
ache
that pounds
me
hard & deep
along
the
shore
of
surety
whilst
time
tells me
that
life
is
fragile & finite
and
I wonder
if he
could
love me
just
a little
bit
longer
than the
last
time
as he
watches
like a
voyeur
whilst
leaving me
gaped
wide
and
blossoming
for him
to
see
whilst
enabling
us
both
to flourish
in the
ecstatic rapture
of
everlasting
love
bound
in moments
founded
upon
being splayed
whilst
filled
erotically
and those
gaping
wounds
remain
sunkissed
whilst nurtured
and
kissed wholly
immersed
in
the afterglow.
