BEAUTIFUL TEARS

THINK

When I was a boy
the well-known
command for boys
was:
"Big boys don't cry."
For some unknown reason
back then it was the
lot of women and girls
to cry. Not "big boys."
Oh, it was permitted with
limitation when a pet died
or a popular relative passed away.
I once did a research paper on
the "Healing Value of Tears."
Boy was my eyes and tear ducts
opened. Research had proven
the healing and emotional
value of tears. The disease
possibilities from not shedding
tears were overwhelming.
Tears are so valuable, they
bring joy, release, calmness,
reminders of our humanity.
So when I say "I love you" with
tears in my eyes, it's because my
heart is overflowing with joy.
Your kisses create beautiful tears.
