Sometimes you just need a day
To sit back and jam to music
To listen intensely whilst
thinking about the meaning of life

To sit back, laugh and cry
To just take the time to ask why
Why your life is going the way it is?
Why things might not be working out for you?

Then move on to ask yourself when

When will you take that step?
When will you showcase your moves?
As each string of bass,
pulls upon your fate
Playing the tunes of your future

Sometimes you need a day just to jam
And let all your worries go
As they leave with each song
As each artists shows that they get you

To just listen and have a solo journey
With a group of sounds guiding the way
Leading you to the truths
That you've tried to deny

But then again for you
It could just be a song
Because we all speak different languages
And music might not be your native one
