hospital Wednesday, surgery Friday, both my appendix and a big ovarian cyst removed.

Damn that's a lot of shit to manage in one go. I hope you have a speedy healing, and all path reports come back intensely boring.
I told my mom last week that half the time doctors don't know what's wrong or how to fix it, so they just want us to shut up about it. Because ya know, we all just dream up pain for shits and tickles.

on some reflection and lots of zapain, I think I can do away with the moan about doctors in the middle. im still irritated at the general attitude of some of the doctors i was seen by but I think that’s conveyed fine by “grumbling man of medicine”.
