Forever yours
Such a gentle beautiful soul trapped in the place
I will protect you from those who own many a face
Such a kind heart so evilly abused
I won't allow you to be used
You're my patch of sunshine in the rain
My medication when I'm in pain
My flower between the thorns
Any act for you I will perform
Such strength untainted by the past
You're number one to me you'll never be last
Unappreciated for all that you do
I mean it babe ide die for you
Your my warmth in the cold
My youth when I'm feeling old
You make the badness fade away
I'm forever yours come what may

I very much appreciated your poem and its romantic bent of love and devotion. I found myself thinking how lucky is the person about which this is written and wishing for such an admirer. So few are loved in this manner and fewer watched over. This is a lovely write. H🌷

We all have access to free will and choices, and no one is trapped per se.
Sadly, too many people make choices based upon what another can give to them as opposed to what can be built together; and therein lies the issue and why so many people ruin their marriages and whatnot as opposed to actually investing the relevant time, energy and commitment it takes to betray their spouse with a lover that might have more to give than their chosen spouse.
You write is a testament to a love that has the potential to flourish...🎧🎼🖤
