Had this cellmate, it’s sad to say,
There was more than hell to pay.
Once the door slid shut, cuffed as one.
Wrists to wrist, were two nuts.
In love? Not in love, just;
In a love they couldn’t get away from.
It infected us like the COVID virus.

Poisoned us like an ivy kiss.

It lingered about in storm form,
like clouds before a downpour.
Drip by drip like a plumbers worst nightmare,
The burst pipe came outta nowhere.
Cost me lots and I did not give any gravy,
Her chips were spent without a halt,
And it came to her result, I was at fault!
And I couldn’t take it without a grain of salt!

I was way more then she could ever afford,
It was hard, but all good things come to a start.
She’d burnt a match at two ends so I wouldn’t starve,
poor her, because now I’m talking money.
Its unhealthy for me to be eating out of her hand,
As much as I would like to munch to my own joy, I’m a big boy!

As I chose the route to the safe house, she went from beauty to a beast,
She was admitted and admitted, defeated to see me released!
On my own terms, couldn’t wait anymore for these court dates to be adjourned.
I failed to wait, there was a JAILBREAK in the penitentiary.
I was a great escape, Steve McQueen, with no note from a writer,
Just smoke from the fire, because lets be frank, I said thanks,
but I exited the mental unit, and left you in it!
Cause we were at each others throats,
Thats some Vampire shit, and we weren’t the twilight type!
