Little Kitten

Little Kitten

Come here little kitten, climb up on my comfy lap, curl up in my arms, you look like you need a nap

Tucked up safe and warm, wrapped within my arms, listen to me whisper, let me tell you about your charms

Your pretty smile, your braided hair, your giggle makes me smile, come on stop your colouring, come hug me for a while

Let me stroke your pretty cheeks, place a kiss upon your head, take you to the bedroom, then tuck you into bed

Tell you your my special girl, perhaps read to you a tale, watch you as you get weary, as your eyes begin to fail

Go off to dreamland, where all sparkles, bright and Pink, a place filled with Unicorns, well at least that's what I think

Whilst you are dreaming, I will be here to watch you sleep, to protect you from the darkness, your safety I will keep

So time for you little Kitten, it's time to rest your weary head, snuggled up safe and warm, cozy in our bed
